Composite Bonding
Minimally invasive cosmetic improvements for your smile

Composite Bonding
Many patients want to improve both the shade (colour) and shape of their teeth. Composite bonding involves minimal preparation to your teeth, and placement of a highly polished dental resin to the surface. This provides a false front for the teeth, which can be shaped to improve your smile, in the shade that you want to achieve.
Some patients consider straightening their teeth with Invisalign, followed by whitening. If there is any wear, or irregularities on the tips of the teeth, these can be corrected with edge bonding to that area.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does composite bonding last?
When well maintained composite bonding can last around 7 years.
Is composite bonding reversible?
Although minimally invasive, composite bonding cannot simply be removed. If it is no longer suitable for your needs, alternatives may need to be considered such as porcelain veneers.
